Project Overview
First Bank of Nigeria — founded in 1894 and the oldest and largest commercial bank in Nigeria — operates one of the most extensive branch networks in Africa, with over 820 business locations. As part of a branch expansion and upgrade programme, Envostructs was engaged to provide structural engineering designs for multiple new branch buildings across Nigerian states. Working to First Bank's architectural and space planning standards, Envostructs produced structural drawings, calculations, and specifications for each branch — covering foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and roof structures — used by local contractors at each location for construction. The engagement demonstrated Envostructs' ability to manage a multi-site structural design programme across varied ground conditions, local regulations, and geographies.
